San Antonio firefighters rescued several people from their balconies as fire roared through their apartment building early Thursday.
Investigators suspect that lightning may have sparked the fire that left two people injured and several pets dead, KSAT reported.
Firefighters found the second floor engulfed in flames.
“We had multiple people on balconies needing rescue so the first-in companies were involved in getting people off balconies,” said San Antonio Asst. Chief Neal Ague.
